Meet Ms. Blakeman

Welcome to 3rd Grade! My name is Madison Blakeman, and I am thrilled to be your child’s 3rd-grade teacher this year. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Nicholls State University and am certified to teach grades 1 through 5. After completing a rewarding residency, I spent last year student teaching first grade, where I reinforced my passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning.

Having grown up in the beautiful Tri-City area, I have always felt a deep connection to this community. I cherish the summers and long weekends spent by the lake, which inspire me to bring a sense of wonder and curiosity into the classroom every day. Outside of teaching, I love diving into books and exploring the fascinating world of dinosaurs, especially with our class pet, Tripod.

My greatest joy is watching my students blossom into confident, creative, and bright young learners. I am dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. I can’t wait to embark on this incredible learning journey together and make this year unforgettable for your child!
