Meet Ms. Mikeska

Hello M.E. Norman Cubs and Families! 🐾

My name is Ms. Mikeska, and I’m so excited to kick off my 8th year at M.E. Norman! I graduated in 2018 from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Birth to Five Early Intervention with additional certifications for 4th and 5th grade.

I’m thrilled to now be teaching both ELA and Social Studies—two subjects I’m passionate about! 📚🌍

I truly believe that teaching is both a calling and a passion. Every child is capable of learning—we just have to discover how they learn best and meet them there. My goal is to help each of my students discover a love for reading, develop curiosity and confidence, and feel valued, heard, and supported every single day.
