Let’s Get Grooving Into Moving!!
Welcome to the Wonderful World of P.E.!! My name is Lori Jo Case and I will be your child’s physical education teacher this year. M.E. Norman has been my home away from home for a while now; my whole teaching career has been spent at this cozy little school quaintly nestled in a subdivision. I have spent the last 22 years teaching ELA to amazing 3rd graders in Room 10 and have enjoyed it a lot! After much prayer and contemplation, I decided to make the leap and try something new. I became certified in Health and P.E. and got out of my comfort zone in 3rd grade. Although I miss my partner teacher, Mrs. Colgin, VERY MUCH, I am enjoying interacting with the entire school and passing on my love for the wonderful world of sports and the great outdoors to the students that walk through my door each day. I am also our school’s SBLC Coordinator where I help organize meetings between parents and teachers to address concerns they may have. I have the joy of sponsoring our 4-H Club where I get to work with our 3rd through 5th graders in this worthwhile school club. I have been married to Ron Case for the last 20 years and God has blessed us with many blessings. Our 7 children- Michael Anthony, Dominic, Benjamin, Gianna, Lucia, Stefano, and Santino- keep us young at heart and make life a lot of fun and worthwhile! My loyal 4 legged companion, Louie, is my shadow and can usually be found in the same vicinity as me! I love to be outside playing with my kids and would rather be playing in the yard with flowers and plants or cutting grass any day over cleaning house. I love to ride my bike, swim, and rollerblade. It is my hope to instill in your children the love of exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle so that they can live a long and prosperous life! I hope they leave my classroom with a healthy mind, body, and soul because the world needs their spark, energy, and potential. Like Bob Marley once said, “Beginnings are usually scary, and endings are usually sad, but it is everything in between that makes it all worth living.” I am honored to be a small piece of your child’s fitness journey that will make their young lives all worth living! Much love & may God bless you and your family always!
