Meet Mrs. Aucoin

Hi! I am Leigh Ann Aucoin.  This is my second-year teaching resource at ME Norman.  I am a graduate of Nicholls State University.  My greatest passion is teaching, inspiring, and making a difference in any student whom I have the pleasure of working with.  I have two adult children who are both teachers.  My daughter, Elizabeth McCloskey is a Kindergarten teacher at ME Norman, while my son teaches History in Lafayette. I have been married for 38 years to my wonderful husband Gary who is an administrator in St. Mary Parish.  We are truly a St. Mary Strong family.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and spoiling my two beautiful grandchildren Abigail who is a fourth grader and Parker who is in first grade at ME Norman.  I am so excited to see what lies ahead for this new school year!
