Behavior Expectations/PBIS

1st violation: Warning
2nd violation: Warning with Teacher Action/Intervention
3rd violation: Consequence of written work or loss of privilege (discretion of teacher)
4th violation: Teacher completes a Minor Discipline Report and contacts the parent to inform them of the MDR.

A teacher or administrator may request a parent to come to school to help resolve student disciplinary problems that may arise.

*four (4) Minor Discipline Reports in a grading period will result in a Major Office Referral and consequence determined by school administrator.

Teacher completes a School Behavior Discipline Report.

The teacher contacts parents to notify them of the incident and behavior that took place.

Administrator determines the course of action and/or consequences.

Each referral may result in appropriate intervention, recess detention, loss of privilege, or suspension.

Students suspended from school may have to report to In- School Suspension at Norman Elementary School.

A teacher or administrator may request a parent to come to school to help resolve student disciplinary problems that may arise.
ALL DISCIPLINE MATTERS ARE LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE ADMINISTRATION and will be in compliance with district, state, and federal laws.
